As long as I could remember, I always had a passion for design and
innovation.
The idea for convenient reading glasses came to my mind one day
when I was tired of hunting for my prescription reading glasses.
By wearing a granny chain, the eyewear becomes more accessible but
the chain makes most baby boomers look outdated. In addition,
the hinge screws often become loose. I decided to design ready-to-wear
reading glasses that are made in one-piece without hinges and will
stay on top of the head or around the neck, ready for use.
Utility Patent in 2008 and 2 Design Patents in 2009 and 2012 were granted for
the idea.
Producing a quality, brand-new product from an idea and making
it affordable took years of painstaking research, development,
and negotiation, but my inspiration to create the handy and
stylish reading glasses and the encouragement from supporters
helped me stay on course. This eyewear is not intended to
replace prescription reading glasses, but I hope you will find
it a great improvement over the traditional eyewear currently
on the market.
